“It is a terrible thing to live a life without knowing its purpose.”
Have you asked yourself some simple questions about your existence?
- “Where are you coming from?”
- “Why are you here?”
- “Who are you?”
- “What is the meaning of your life?”
- “What are you here to accomplish?”
- “Where are you going after?”
God, the Master Creator, made you and placed you on Earth. He did not send you here simply to eat, drink, and walk the earth. He sent you “to accomplish a purpose.” You have been given “one life, one opportunity, and one purpose.”
Why were you given life? Not only for basic survival but for “purpose.” From creation, a purpose has been set before you. Your purpose is your supreme calling, the task you are uniquely prepared to fulfill. It is your life’s assignment, a mission that must be accomplished. You cannot afford to let your purpose fade away.
Death isn’t life’s greatest tragedy—it’s living without fulfilling the purpose of life. The most tragic thing is for life to miss its purpose. Don’t be like a bird that makes no nest. Don’t live in vain; don’t let your life be empty, fruitless, or meaningless. “A worse thing than non-existence is to live without achieving the purpose of life.” What a waste that would be! “Better not to live at all.”
