Ali Abare

Ali Abare, a journalist and creative writer was born in Jos, Plateau State. He attended Government Senior Science Secondary School, Waka-Biu in Borno State before graduating with a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Jos. On graduation, he was employed as Nasarawa State correspondent of the Peoples Daily, an Abuja based newspaper, where he rose to become its politics editor/senate correspondent. At a time, he was Daily Sun correspondent in Gombe State, Northeastern Nigeria. Abare was also Nigeria's correspondent for the Associated Reporters Abroad (ARA), with his articles published in international newspapers such as the Washington Times and USA Today. Abare, a Muck Rack journalist, is presently undergoing a masters degree program in Development Communication at the Federal University of Lafia, in Nasarawa State. Abare, a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, is married with children and loves reading, traveling and meeting exciting people.
