E. Chijioke Ogbonna Ph.D, is a Professor of Comparative Politics and Head of the Department of Political Science, Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB). He studied Political Science at MSc and Ph.D levels at both University of Ibadan and Babcock University respectively. He was in 2006 the recipient of the Babcock University Merit Award for being the best graduating student of the Department of History & International Studies. Before his appointment at NAUB, he held previous lecturing appointments at Wesley University, Ondo, Nigeria, Babcock University, Ogun State, and most recently, Adeleke University, Ede, Nigeria, where he was also the Director of the Centre for Remedial and Continuing Education (CRCE) from 2017 to 2021. His specific research domain is on Africa and Third World countries with specialisation in Comparative Politics, State-Society Relations, Peace Education, and International Studies.
